Deutsche Telekom and Wavefront, Canada’s Centre of Excellence for Wireless Commercialization and Research, have announced a long-term agreement to collaborate in developing the Machine-to-Machine (M2M) market in North America.
As part of the collaboration, Wavefront supports Canadian wireless start-ups and small and medium companies with its accelerator program providing access to services including educational seminars, testing resources, advisory services and global market connections, while Deutsche Telekom provides access to its M2M resources and proactively engages with the wireless community.
Wavefront has recently established a M2M Zone at its facilities in Vancouver, which has seen interest from the North American wireless community.
